Lake LBJ is said to be the largest normally constant level lake in the United States, which provides the best conditions for boating, waterskiing, jet skiing and swimming.  You will love Lake LBJ!

Tranquil Waters Lake House is conveniently located in central Texas about 60 minutes northwest of Austin, 90 minutes north of San Antonio, 3 1/2 hours south of Dallas/Ft. Worth and 4 1/2 hours west of Houston.

The Dock at the Lake House

Tie up your boat and jet skis at the dock of the lake house.  If you don't have a boat or jet ski, they can be rented locally in Kingsland.  There are several boat launches in Kingsland.  The property includes a lot across the street from the lake house for storing boat trailers, etc.

The concrete dock spans the full width of the property and is shaded by large oak trees making it the perfect place for enjoying the lake. The lake has a sandy bottom at this location making it  perfect for swimming and wading.

Some of the most spectacular sunsets can be seen over the water from this dock.

Paddle Boat:
A paddle boat is furnished for your enjoyment.  You can take the paddle boat across the water to the sandy shore and have fun on the sandy beach.

A second swing is located in the shade near the waterfront making it a popular spot for watching the activity on the lake and enjoying the gentle breezes.

Tranquil Waters Lake House is a beautiful home with a beautiful lawn and landscaping.  The home was designed to maximize enjoyment of the lake and was built with care and attention to fine details.  When you enter the home, you will notice the quality construction and the nice furnishings throughout the home.

The home has 2,600 sq. ft. with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths.  It can sleep 12 people in beds, and another 3 people in air mattress beds for a total of 15 people.

There are views of the water from the 2 covered porches, the living room, the dining room, the kitchen, and the master bedroom. 

The large, beautiful lawn sloping down to the water is mostly shaded and can be used for games and picnics.

The covered porch provides a view of the lake.  It has a table with four chairs, a small table and 2 more chairs, and a barbeque grill.  The home has another covered porch off the master bedroom.  There is also a second barbeque grill for your use if you want to barbeque at the lakefront.

The shaded patio off the bunk room has a table with umbrella and 4 chairs and a barbeque smoker.  Their is a separate fenced in yard with this patio.

The Living Room of the Lake House

The living room is beautifully furnished with quality furniture.  A wall of 4 windows look onto the lake.

The living room has a 65 inch High Definition TV with Dish Network, Surround Sound, and a DVD player.  It also has an attractive stone fireplace, a very comfortable chenille sofa, a king-sized overstuffed chair with ottoman and a second overstuffed chair.

Dining Room

The attractive dining room has hand-painted accents above the arched windows.  It has a table with seating for 6 people and a view of the lake.

 
Kitchen of the Lake House

The kitchen has modern appliances, granite counter tops, refrigerator with ice and water in the door, dishwasher, stove, microwave and everything you need to make meals and snacks while vacationing at the lake.  All you need to bring are your food and drinks.

A utility room off the kitchen has a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Master Bedroom

The Master Bedroom of the lake house has a king-sized, 4-poster bed with a pineapple motif, luxurious linens, king-sized overstuffed chair with ottoman, an armoire with TV, a nightstand, and a dresser with mirror.

A sliding door leads to a private covered porch and a separate entrance to the Master Bedroom.

The arched windows provide a view of the lake.

The master bath has a Jacuzzi bathtub with a shower.

The private porch off the Master Bedroom has a table and 2 chairs with a view of the water. Stairs lead down to the lawn providing a private entrance to the Master Bedroom.

The Second Bedroom of the lake house has a day bed with a trundle for sleeping for 2 people.  They can be attached to make a queen-sized bed or used separately as two twin beds.  This room also has an overstuffed chair with an ottoman and a TV.

Third Bedroom

The Third Bedroom has a queen-sized bed. 

Bunk Bedroom

The Bunk Room also has a foosball table with air hockey and other games, a TV, and exercise equipment.  It provides a special place for the children to have their fun and make their noise without disturbing the adults.  Kids and teenagers love this room!

The home also has a ping pong table and badminton.

The second bathroom with a tub/shower combination is located in the hallway near these two bedrooms.  This beautiful bathroom has hand-painted flower pots and a stone wall.

A half bath is located near the utility room.
