Welcome to the lake and LBJ Texas Star Lakehouse on beautiful Lake LBJ.  This lakehouse is family friendly and available for your next family vacation.

The LBJ Texas Star Lake House is located on the Colorado Arm of Lake LBJ in Kingsland, about 60 minutes northwest of Austin, 90 minutes north of San Antonio, 3 hours south of Dallas/Ft. Worth and 3 1/2 hours west of Houston, Texas.

Relax on the waterfront deck above the boat dock.   There is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the laid back life on the lake.  Lounge on the chaises or sit around the table while waiting on your meal prepared on the barbeque. 

Waterfront Patio Area

The waterfront patio area provides seating right at the water's edge under a beautiful shade tree.  You can also fish from this area.

There is always a changing vista of sights and sounds.   Daytime or nighttime there is always something to see and enjoy.  Guests enjoy the ducks and waterfowl in the day time and the splendid display of starlight and moonlight on the water at night.

Tie up your boats and jet-skis at the boat dock.   If you don't have boats or jet-skis, they can be rented locally.

The back yard was designed for maximum enjoyment with its covered porch, picnic table and log swing.  Stately pecan trees shade the entire yard, and a gentle breeze always seems to be blowing.

Pecans are plentiful in the back yard when they are in season.  Feel free to help yourself to some of the pecans.

Pick your favorite spot in this comfortable, shady backyard and sit back and relax.

The back yard has the best of both worlds.  Sit in the swing or at the picnic table and watch the boats go by on the Colorado Arm of Lake LBJ.  Turn the other direction and watch the activity on the cove, just off the lake.  With water in two directions from the back yard, the breezes flow freely.

Throughout the yard and among the potted plants, you will discover cute little  figures including; fish, turtles and a large wooden parrot.

A cedar mulch path winding through the yard leads you to two large carved bears nestled near the water's edge.

The back porch is another great place for friends and family to gather.  A wicker seating group with a love seat, two chairs and a coffee table provide intimate seating for conversation and enjoying refreshments.  A table with 4 chairs is provided for dining on the porch.

The shaded back and side yards are ideal for yard games and picnics.  The breezes from the lake make the yard very enjoyable.

  
Living Room of the Lakehouse

The cozy and welcoming living room is decoratedin true lakehouse fashion with canoe paddles, fishing creel lamps and colorful fish. A leather loveseat and chairs provide seating for watching TV or DVD.  A sleeper sofa makes into a bed for 2 extra guests.  The living room has a view of the shaded back yard, the boat dock and the cove.

Ceiling fans are located throughout the house. 

Dining Room

The dining room seats 6 to 8 people.  The dining room, kitchen and bathrooms have ceramic tile floors.

The fully equipped kitchen functions well and has everything you need to prepare all of the meals and snacks including a handy extra refrigerator for drinks. 

A laundry room with washer and dryer is available for your use.

  
Master Bedroom

The master bedroom is a comfortable room with a great view of the yard and the water.  A queen bed, two night stands, and a chest of drawers are included.

The adjoining bath has a tub/shower combination, and a closet providing space for your toiletries and supplies.

 
Second Bedroom

The second bedroom is cheerfully decorated in a log cabin motif.  The lamps on the end tables have whimsical metal fish as a base.   The rustic log bedframe on the queen bed adds to the cabin style decor.  An extra single bed provides extra sleeping for one more person.

The two windows have views of the water from two directions, the Colorado Arm of Lake LBJ and the cove.

  
Third Bedroom

The third bedroom has a queen bed, two end tables and a wicker desk and chair.  Two windows provide views of the yard and lake.

April 1st thru September 30th:
$295 per night for up to 6 people
$15 per night, per person for extra persons over 6 people
Stay 5 nights & get 6th night free

October 1st thru March 31st:
$245 per night for up to 6 people
$15 per night, per person for extra persons over 6 people
Stay 5 nights & get 6th night free

Holiday Weekends - $345 per night

There is a one time cleaning fee of $110 per stay.
2 night minimum stay
3 night minimum stay on Holidays
4 night minimum stay for the July 4th holiday this year

Smoking outdoors only - no smoking in the house
MasterCard, Visa and PayPal are accepted.

Guests wishing for longer stays will receive priority treatment for reservations made far in advance.  Reservations for June, July and August require a 4 night minimum when made well in advance.  Shorter reservations may be made available mid-Spring for June, July and August.
