This great lake house has everything you need for your lake vacation.  It is located on one and a half acres of waterfront property on Cedar Creek Lake, only an hour's drive southeast of Dallas.

The Elijah Stephens Roadhouse has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a loft and a den and can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people.  The Hideaway at The Roadhouse sleeps another 6 people for a maximum of 14 people.  If your group is larger than that, the owner of this lake home has 2 more rental houses on this cove that can be rented along with this lake house to accommodate larger groups.  To see the web pages for The Cottage and The Farmhouse, click on their names.

"Texas tall" ceilings highlight the open living area with a stone fireplace, wall of built-ins opposite a bank of three atrium doors which open to the screened porch with lake vista!

A quaint antique island is the center of the kitchen and will be the place for your get-togethers while meals are being prepared.

Your cook will become a "chef" in this kitchen with every convenience at hand.  Shiny stainless steel cookware, serving pieces, dishes, glassware, and utensils of every variety.

Upstairs Loft - Master Suite

The upstairs loft - master suite offers a king-sized bed, a fantastic queen-sized futon with plush pocket coil mattress, a bath with slipper tub, separate shower and a walk-in closet.  It also has a flat panel LCD High Definition TV.

 
Two Downstairs Bedrooms

The two downstairs bedrooms have queen-sized beds and flat-screen LCD High Definition TVs.

The downstairs bedrooms share the second bathroom which has a tub/shower combination and a charming antique vanity.

The comfy queen-sized futon in the living room converts to comfortably accommodate two guests with ease.

The Hideaway at The Roadhouse:

The Hideaway at The Roadhouse is an apartment above the garage.  It can sleep up to 6 people in its 600 sq. ft.  The Hideaway is only rented along with The Roadhouse to provide extra sleeping space.

The Hideaway has a king-sized bed, a queen-sized Sleep Number bed and a full-sized futon bed.  It is great for sleeping for larger groups.

The Hideaway has cable TV and WiFi computer Internet access.

The Hideaway rents for an additional $150 per night plus a one time $75 cleaning fee.

Guests wishing for longer stays will receive priority treatment for reservations made far in advance.  Reservations for June, July and August require a 4 night minimum when made well in advance.  Shorter reservations may be made available mid-Spring for June, July and August.
