At this peaceful spot on the Pedernales River the water is 200 to 300 feet
wide and 2 to 4 feet deep. There is always water in this area 1.5 miles above the
dam. This river house has 200 feet of great waterfront on the Pedernales River, and
has 5 acres offering you privacy.
Riverdance River House is located on the Pedernales River just north of
Johnson City in central Texas about 55 miinutes west of Austin and 50 minutes north of San
Antonio, 4 hours south of Dallas/Ft. Worth and 4 hours west of Houston.
Geese and ducks love the river
Fishing is good on the river. You can catch a lot of bass, perch and
catfish. Bring your fishing gear.
Be sure to bring your camera, too!
People and dogs love the river, too.
Ask about bringing your pet along with you!
Guests have a lot of fun swimming, tubing and playing with water toys on
the river. The stone river bottom helps keep the water clean and fresh. You
can enjoy the cool river breezes while canoeing up and down the Pedernales River.
You will really love staying at this popular river house!
Guests should bring water shoes or aqua socks for wading and swimming at
the river since the rocks can be very slippery.

Creative Barn Style Home
This unique home is an ideal vacation rental. It was built in 2004
using an interesting barn style design. The river house has 2 living areas, 3
bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. The home can sleep 10 people in beds. If you bring
sleeping bags or air mattresses, more people can be accommodated.
There is a view of the Pedernales River from the extra large porch and
from inside the home in the two living areas and the kitchen.

The river house sits on 5 acres that gently slope down to the waterfront
on the Pedernales River. President Johnson's famous ranch sets to the west of this
property just a few miles. You can visit President Johnson's ranch and his boyhood
home in Johnson City only a few minutes drive from the house.
A large deck with a great view of the Pedernales River can seat a lot of
people in chairs and lounges for picnics and family gatherings. Shade is provided by
a large Live Oak tree. Gentle breezes from the river are quite common at the
Riverdance River House.

Everybody loves a fire pit!
This popular fire pit can also be used as a BBQ grill. Gathering
around the fire pit in the evenings is popular with the guests.

The Living Room of the River Dance River House
The living room has an antique desk and spinning wheel. Seating for
5 is provided with 2 wingback chairs and a leather sofa. There is also a large
screen TV with satellite TV.
There is a half bath off the living room.
The home has beautiful African wood flooring both upstairs and down.
The Riverdance River House has interesting antiques throughout the home.

The Kitchen of the River House
The kitchen is a modern kitchen with tile counter top and modern
appliances indluding a dishwasher and microwave. It has everything you need for
fixing your meals and snacks while vacationing at the river. All you need to bring
are your food and drinks.

The dining table downstairs seats six people.
Next to the dining area is a utility room with a washer and dryer for your
use.
Master Bedroom - Downstairs
The master bedroom has a large king-sized bed, dresser, night table and TV
with satellite TV.
The master bathroom has double sinks and a tub/shower combination.
The upstairs has a family room and two bedrooms.
Family Room Upstairs
The upstairs family room has a sofa, an antique bench, a single bed with
trundle, and a futon that can sleep 2 people. It has a view of the Pedernales River.

A table that seats 4 can be used for dining and games.
 
Both upstairs bedrooms have twin beds.
