Step up to the good life at The Upstairs Cottage located approximately 200 yards from beautiful Lake LBJ in Kingsland, Texas.  A boat dock with electric lift is provided with The Upstairs Cottage.  A fishing pier and deck are also provided for fishing, sunbathing and enjoying the lake.

This comfortable 2 bedroom, one bath cottage also has a one car garage and a carport.

Winter Texans...This is it!  The Upstairs Cottage can be your winter headquarters for our mild Texas climate and central location for the Highland Lakes and nearyby fun attractions.

The Living and Dining Areas

This newly constructed cottage was built with quality and comfort in mind by the owner and builder.  High ceilings and plenty of windows offer a spacious and airy feel to the living area.  A softly lit ledge above the living room wall adds to the evening ambience.  An oval accent window near the roof line frames the tree tops creating an inviting focal point.

The living area with its soft sage green carpet is inviting and cozy.  Comfortable seating is provided by a leather sofa and love seat and a roomy upholstered wing chair for reading or watching cable TV.

The Balcony

Sip your morning coffee or your evening glass of wine at the bistro table and chairs on your own private balcony.  The tiled floor adds extra charm to the area.  There's even room for a couple of friends to sit and keep you company.  It is a great place to plan a day of fishing for the guys, or shopping and sightseeing for the girls.

 
The Kitchen

You will feel right at home in this bright and shiny kitchen.   It is easy to put together a meal with the new appliances and plenty of cabinet space.  A dishwasher, stove, microwave, coffee pot, refrigerator, pantry and all of the things you need to fix all of your meals and snacks are provided.  All dishes, glasses, dinnerware, and pots and pans are supplied.  All you need to supply is the food and drinks.

The first bedroom has a comfortable queen-sized bed, chest of drawers and a bedside table.  A room closet can store those bargains you find at area shops and antiques stores (as well as your clothes of course.)
The softly draped large window in the second bedroom creates a dreamy atmosphere.  The queen-sized bed with its new mattress insures a good night's sleep.

The bath has a shower/tub combination and plenty of room to accommodate cosmetics and toiletries.  A linen closet holds extra towels, etc.

A washer and dryer are conveniently located in the hallway of the cottage, so there is no need to go to a laundromat.

Nightly Rates:

$195 per night for up to 4 people
Stay 5 nights & get 6th night free

Holiday Weekends - $245 per night

There is a one time cleaning fee of $60 per stay.
2 night minimum stay
3 night minimum stay on holiday weekends
4 night minimum for July 4th this year
Maximum of 4 people
