Lost Lure Lake House is located on 175
feet of waterfront on a large quiet cove on the point of a peninsula with water on three
sides of the property. The views are amazing at this lake house!
Lake LBJ is one of the prettiest and
largest normally constant level lakes in the United States, and this lake house takes full
advantage of the lake with its waterfront deck, swimming and fishing docks and the great
views from almost every room of the house.
From this location, you can take a boat
the length of Lake LBJ, which extends about 20 miles, exploring the coves and admiring the
views along the way. This lake also has access to the Colorado and Llano Rivers for
boating, fishing and watersports.
Lost Lure Lake House is located in
Kingsland, Texas only about 1 hour northwest of Austin, 90 minutes north of San Antonio, 3
hours south of Dallas/Ft. Worth and 4 hours west of Houston.
You can tie up your boats in two locations at the
docks. There are two jet ski floating docks for your jet skis. The community
boat launch ramp is just a couple of houses over from this location.
If you don't have a boat or jet skis, you can rent them
locally in Kingsland.
There is plenty of off-street parking at the lake house
for your cars and a boat trailer.
The Waterfront Deck
The waterfront deck is on the point of the peninsula at
the lake house and has an outstanding view in several directions. It has a wrought
iron table with an umbrella and 4 chairs, a swimming ladder, and a covered fish cleaning
station.
The water at this deck is about 8 feet deep and is
great for swimming. The water is normally constant level which provides the best
condtitions for water sports.

Fish Cleaning Station
Crappie fishing is excellent at the Lost Lure Lake
House. People come in their boats from other areas to fish here because the fishing
is so good.
Night fishing is excellent with the green light under
water to attract the fish.
Clean your fish at this cleaning station, BBQ them on
the grill and have your catch of the day for dinner on one of the patios. Life
doesn't get much better than this!

Lost Lure Lake House can sleep up to 14 people in 3
queen beds, 2 sets of bunk beds, and 2 futon sofa beds. You will find its 1,700
square feet well laid out and roomy with 3 nice bedrooms and 2 baths.
WiFi Internet access is provided.
Covered porch with great views of the lake
The covered porch is a favorite gathering place for
watching the activity on the lake. The porch goes the full width of the lake house
and has plenty of seating for everyone with a porch swing, a bench, table and chairs and 7
extra lawn chairs.
Covered Patio
The Covered Patio, next to the covered porch, offers a
nice shaded area for picnics and relaxing. It has 2 picnic tables which seat 8
people each, and a charcoal BBQ. Chairs from the covered porch can be used in this
area, too. This patio has a great water view!

The Open Patio
The Open Patio, next to the covered patio, is a large
stone patio shaded by large shade trees. It is also a favorite spot for relaxing at
the lake. It is also popular in the evening while guests are using the fire in the
chimenea.
Living Room of the Lake House
The spacious living room has a wall of windows and
glass sliding doors looking out at the lake. Seating is provided by 2 futon sofas
that make into beds which can sleep up to 4 people. A large screen TV has satellite
TV, a DVD player and Surround Sound. An iPod ready stereo is also provided. A
large, attractive stone fireplace and ceiling fan add to the room.

The dining table seats six and has a nice view of the
lake. A bar with two stools at the kitchen provides extra seating.
There are folding tables and chairs for extra dining
indoors.

Lost Lure's kitchen has modern, stainless steel
appliances and everything you need to make your snacks and meals while vacationing at Lake
LBJ. It has a large refrigerator with water and ice in the door, a modern stove,
dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, pots and pans, plates, utensils, etc. You will
like this lake house!
All you need to bring are your food and drinks.

First Bedroom
The first bedroom has a queen-sized bed and bunk beds.
This bedroom can sleep up to 4 people.

There is also another entrance to this balcony off the
hallway upstairs.
 
Second Bedroom
The second bedroom also has a queen-sized bed and bunk
beds. It can sleep up to 4 people. This bedroom also has a nice view of the
water.

The third bedroom also has a queen-sized bed.
There are ceiling fans in all three bedrooms.
The bedrooms are all equipped with quality shades that open at both the
top or the bottom which can provide the ideal amount of darkness or light and privacy.
Bonus Sleeping Nook
Lost Lure Lake House also has a small bonus sleeping nook that can sleep
one child. Children love this comfortable nook. It is located in a small room
near the upstairs bath.
Upstairs Bathroom
The upstairs bathroom is in the hallway between the bedrooms. It is
a very spacious bathroom with double sinks, a large mirror, and a tub/shower.
The downstairs bathroom also has shower.
Washer and Dryer
A large utility room has a washer and dryer for your convenience.
