Ask about out pet policy.

Lake Travis Hideaway
Lake Travis Hideaway is located in a beautiful area
on the Colorado Arm of Lake Travis that is very peaceful and semi-secluded. You may
even see deer, foxes and an occassional wild turkey.
It is located just 10 minutes west of Lago Vista on
the north side of Lake Travis, only about 40 minutes from Austin.

Boat launch and floating swimming platform
Swim on out to the swimming platform and get a nice tan in the sun.
This a great part of Lake Travis for swimming.
You can launch your boat and jet skis at the boat launch on the property
if you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle, or you can launch them at a local park nearby.

Dock your boats and jet skis here
Lake Travis Hideaway has a boat dock / fishing pier that has two boat
slips. You can tie up more boats and jet skis at the dock. You can catch your
dinner from the pier. Lights attract the fish and make night fishing fun.

Covered porch facing Lake Travis
The covered porch overlooking the lake is a perfect place to kick back and
enjoy the magnificient view of the lake and the hills. A porch swing and two
cushioned chairs provide comfortable seating while enjoying the view.

Swing on the porch with a great view
The porch swing is a favorite with guests. It is a great way to
relax after a fun day on the lake!

View of Lake Travis from the porch
The above photo was taken from the covered back porch. You can see
for over a half a mile down the lake. The back porch is also a great place to watch
the sunrise or to enjoy the evening as the area slowly drifts into darkness. It is
very quiet and peaceful.
Nightime is magic at Lake Travis Hideaway. Softly lit lights line
the ceiling of the porch, and if you are lucky, you might see some firefles twinkling in
the trees. A full moon over the lake is really beautiful, too!

Gas barbeque
The gas barbeque on the porch comes in handy for outdoor cooking,
especially cooking the catch of the day. There are also two smokers available.
A picnic table in the yard is handy for outdoor meals and snacks.

Brick barbeque
A brick barbeque in the back yard near the picnic table is available for
you to use. A third barbeque is located at lake side near the boat launch and
swimming platform.

Path to the lake
There are two paths down to the lake that let you enjoy nature while
walking about 100 yards to the lake. The one acre of property with the lake
house includes 250 feet of waterfront on the lake.

Road for launching boats
There is also a road down to the lake on the property for launching boats,
etc. The road is steep enough that a 4 wheel drive vehicle should be used for
launching boats and jet skis. Boats and jet skis can also be launched at a local
park.

The lawn is well kept at the lake house and there are ample shade trees.
There is plenty of room for parking cars and a boat trailer on the property.

Living room with fireplace
Lake Travis Hideaway is very comfortable with a large living / dining room
that is 17 X 23 feet which gives the house a nice open feel. The vaulted ceiling and
walls in the living area are covered with beautiful cedar which gives a fresh, clean
mountain cabin feel to the home. Beautiful views of the lake can be seen from the
living room and dining room.

Recessed lighting with dimmers can create a soft candlelight atmosphere if
desired. Tiffany style light fixtures add colorful charm to the room.
Two leather recliners, a sleeper sofa and futon provide comfortable
seating for relaxing or watching TV with Dish Network. Play your favorite tunes on
the stereo/CD player. Board games are also available for your use.
Extra guests can sleep on the sleeper sofa and futon.

Dining room
The antique dining table seats 4, with additional seating for 4 at the bar
of the kitchen.

Kitchen of the lake house
The kitchen has a smooth cooktop stove, refrigerator, microwave and small
appliances. All cookware, utensils, dishes, pots and pans are provided. All
you need to bring is your own food and drinks.

First bedroom with queen bed
The lake house has 2 bedrooms and one bath. The first bedroom has a
queen-sized sleigh bed with a new comfortable mattress. There is a chest of drawers
and 2 night stands with lamps.
One window looks out toward the front yard and the other has a beautiful
view of the hills and trees.
The large catfish pillow at the foot of the bed looks like "Old
Walter," Walter Matthau's nemesis in "Grumpy Old Men." Who knows,
this fish's cousin may be living near the shore by the boat dock!

Second bedroom with twin beds
The second bedroom has 2 twin beds plus other furniture. One window
looks out on the front yard and the other window looks out on the side yard.
The bathroom has a bathtub/shower combination and ample counter space for
toiletries, etc. A beautiful view of the wooded area and hills can be seen from the
bathroom window.
