The Lakeshore Home is on open water on the Colorado Arm
of Lake LBJ. Lake LBJ has been said to be the largest normally constant-level lake
in the United States. With normally constant-level water you get the best in
boating, water skiing, jet skiing and swimming. It just doesn't get much better than
this.
This lake house was originally designed as a vacation
lodge for a company to use for their employees and clients. It was carefully
designed to maximize the enjoyment of Lake LBJ.
The Lakeshore Home is in Kingsland, Texas, 12 minutes
from Marble Falls, 50 minutes northwest of Austin, 90 minutes north of San Antonio, 3 1/2
hours south of Dallas/Ft. Worth and 4 hours west of Houston. It is well worth the
drive from anywhere in Texas.
The Boat House
Dock your smaller boat in the boat dock, or tie up your
boats and jet skis at the boat house. If you don't have a boat or jet ski, they can
be rented locally.
Chairs at the Boat House
Enjoy the chairs at the boat house for viewing the
activity on the lake or fishing from the boat house. There is also 125 ft. of
shoreline where the fishing is great, too. A boat launch is only a short distance
away.

The Lakeshore Home has some of the best views of the
lake. The lake house has a deck running the width of the lake house on the water side.
There are good lake views from within the lake house, too.

The 1.75 acre park-like lawn has a concrete bulkhead
for enjoying the water's edge. Fish from the shore, or just pull up a chair and
enjoy the views and the boating activity.

The spacious living room with its high ceiling is the
perfect gathering place for good conversations, watching TV or just relaxing and watching
the view of the lake.
There is a large flat panel TV with cable, DVD and
Surround Sound. A table for playing cards and games for evening fun is provided.
There is ample seating in the living room with 2 sofas,
2 club chairs, 1 recliner and another chair.
The sofa in the living room makes into a queen-sized
bed.
The dining room is off the living room and has a
pass-through to the kitchen. The dining table seats 8 people. There is also a
large buffet in the dining room.
Kitchen
The kitchen provides all of the appliance, dinnerware,
and cooking utensils that you will need for the perfect lake vacation. All you need
to bring is your food and drink. You will love their coffee maker!

The spacious master bedroom has a king-sized bed that
looks out onto the deck and the lake. (The blurred portion of the photo above
is a sliding screen door.)
The rocking chair in the bedroom is very popular with
the guests. The guests also love sitting in the swing on the deck off the master
bedroom.
The master bath has double sinks, a shower and a huge
bathtub.

There are good views of the lake from almost every room
in the home. The deck running the length of the house also has entrances from
several rooms.
 
Queen-sized Bed, 2 Twin Beds and a Single Bed in Second Bedroom
Including the hidden antique cabinet bed in the room, 5
people can comfortable sleep in the second bedroom.
A TV with cable TV is in this room.
The bathroom off the second bedroom has a Jack &
Jill bath with a shower/tub combination and a sink.

One Ante Room provides a child's bed, and a second Ante
Room has a twin bed. The lake house comfortably sleeps 9 people and more people can
be accommodated by using sleeping bags and air mattresses.
