The Sabinal River

The Sabinal River has crystal clear, spring-fed water from the springs in the Lost Pines area.  Guests love swimming, kayaking, tubing and fishing in the beautiful water of the Sabinal River.

Beautiful Spring Fed Water

The water is as much as 15 to 20 feet deep and more at the Honeybee's Haven's 500 feet of waterfront on the river.  Their 43 acres of grassy, tree-shaded property provides plenty of room for all kinds of recreational activities.

Rope Swing over the Water

One of the favorite activities of guests is swinging out over the river and dropping into the crisp, clean water.  They never seem to tire of it.

  
Great Fishing at Honeybee's Haven

Fishermen love fishing in the Sabinal River with its clear water.  Being able to see  the fish better makes fishing much more exciting, especially for the youngsters.

There are plenty of deer at Honeybee's Haven

Don't be surprised if you see deer walking through the property and grazing at Honeybee's Haven.  The property is teaming with wildlife.

Fire Pit

Everyone seems to enjoy gathering around the firepit in the evening.  Roasting marshmallows and weiners, and singing songs around the fire are memorable experiences guests take home from their vacation.

Sunsets at Honeybee's Haven

Sunsets can be beautiful almost anywhere, but the sunsets seem to be more special at the Honeybee's Haven.  Be sure to bring your camera.

Honeybee's Haven is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country in south-central Texas in the Utopia area, about 15 minutes from Garner State Park and 20 minutes from Lost Maples.

The towns of Leakey, Sabinal and Bandera are all within 20 to 30 minutes drive for shopping and sight-seeing.

  
Front Porch with Hot Tub

This front porch was made to be enjoyed.  Relax in one of the many rocking chairs and enjoy nature at its best. 

The hot tub is a popular feature in the evenings after an active day on the river.  It is a great way to relax and unwind.

The home is about 100 yards from the river.  It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with 2 of the bedrooms downstairs and one bedroom upstairs.   The living room, dining, kitchen and 2 baths are downstairs.  A den and the third bedroom are upstairs.

Living Room

The living room has an armoire with a TV with DVD/VCR, 2 rockers, 2 side tables and a queen-sized sleeper sofa that can sleep two additional guests.

  
Kitchen of the Home

The kitchen has modern appliances and everything you need to make your meals and snacks while on vacation.  All you need to bring is your food and drinks.

Dining Room

The dining room table seats six people.  Four additional people can sit on the bar stools at the counter next to the kitchen.

The open living, dining and kitchen provides spaciousness.

Upstairs Den/Loft

The Upstairs Den/Loft has a TV with DVD.  The futon sofabed can sleep 2 people.

  
Master Bedroom

The Master Bedroom has a king-sized bed, TV with DVD and rocking chair.  This bedroom is downstairs, down a hallway from the living room.

The bathroom off the master bedroom has a shower/tub combination.

  
Second Bedroom

The Second Bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a TV with DVD.  This bedroom is also downstairs, down the hallway from the living room.

The second bathroom is off the Second Bedroom and has a shower/tub combination.  This bathroom can also be accessed from the hallway.

Third Bedroom

The Third Bedroom is upstairs next to the den/loft.   It has a queen-sized bed.

Ten people can sleep in the king-sized bed, the 2 queen-sized beds, the sleeper sofa and the futon.  More people can sleep in sleeping bags or by using air mattresses.   A maximum of 12 people can stay in the home.

$360 per night for up to 6 people
$15 per night, per person over 6 up to 12
Stay 6 nights & get 7th night free

October - April
$270 per night for up to 4 people
$15 per night, per person over 4 up to 12
Stay 6 nights & get 7th night free

Holiday's All Year (including Spring Break) - $360 per night for up to 6 people

There is a one time cleaning fee of $85 per stay.
