Hackberry Point Lake House has 400 feet of waterfront on a very large cove
on Cedar Creek Lake, one of the largest and prettiest lakes in Texas.
Cedar Creek Lake is the fourth largest lake in Texas
and is a very popular lake for boating, waterskiing, jet-skiing, swimming and
fishing. With 320 miles of shoreline, 18 miles long and 8.5 miles wide at the widest
point, Cedar Creek Lake offers plenty of space for everyone.
Hackberry Point Lake House is located in Gun Barrel
City, Texas, only an hour drive southeast of the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
The lake rental house has 3 bedrooms plus the Sun Room
with a day bed, and 2 baths. It can sleep 7 adults in beds. Additional guests can
sleep on an air mattress and the sofa and chaise.
You can dock your boat and jet ski at the dock.
If you don't have a boat or jet ski, you can rent them locally. You can launch your
boat and jet ski at a local public boat launch or at Big Chief Landing, a local marina in
the area.
Fishing is good at the fishing/swimming pier on
the property. You can cook your "catch of the day" on the charcoal grill.
Swimming is good at this location and a shallow wading
area is available for younger guests.
The extra large cove is popular for waterskiing.
Large deck looking out at the lake
The 1200 sq. ft. deck has a beautiful view of Cedar Creek Lake. A
large picnic table on the deck seats 10 and other deck furniture can seat another 7
people. This is a favorite place for guests to catch up on the latest news from
family and friends while watching the activity on the lake.
People also like to gather around the fire pit in the
evenings and roast marshmallows and sing songs.
Hackberry Point Lake House was designed with the enjoyment of Cedar Creek
Lake in mind. There are lake views from the living room, dining room, the sun room
and the rear bedroom. The house has central air conditioning and heat and ceiling
fans.
 
Great Room
The living room has a sofa, a 2 person chaise and two
bench seats. The TV has satellite TV with a DVD/VCR player. There is a nice
view of the lake from this room.
The lake rental house has high speed WiFi Internet
access.
There are several games, puzzles, cards, dominoes, and
toys in the chest/coffee table in the living room and the hallway shelves for your
entertainment.
Dining Area
The dining area of the great room has a nice view of the lake. The
table seats 6.
Kitchen of the lake house
The kitchen has everything you need for fixing your meals and snacks while
vacationing at Cedar Creek Lake. All you need to bring are your food and drinks.
Front Bedroom
The front bedroom has a queen-sized bed. There is a TV with
satellite TV in the front bedroom.
Middle Bedroom
The middle bedroom also has a queen-sized bed.
The front bathroom has a tub/shower combination.
Back Bedroom
The bedroom in the back of the lake house has a nice view of Cedar Creek
Lake. It has a double bed.
The bathroom off this bedroom has a shower.
The Sun Room
The Sun Room has a double day-bed for sleeping
one person. It has a nice view of the lake.
A queen sized air mattress can be used to sleep two
people.
The sofa and chaise lounge in the living room can each
sleep one person.
