Granite Crossing Lake House No. 3 has three great waterfront decks and a patio overlooking the lake.  Your group will have plenty of room for everyone!   This home can comfortably accommodate up to 18 people with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, and 2 beds and 7 futon sofa beds.

This lake house has 115 feet of waterfront on the popular Colorado Arm of beautiful Lake LBJ.  Lake LBJ is one of the largest lakes in the United States that has normally constant level water. 

The living room, dining room, kitchen and all three bedrooms have great views of the lake.

From this location you can boat down the Colorado River a few miles, then boat on down Lake LBJ for about 21 miles, exploring the coves and looking at the expensive homes all the way to Horseshoe Bay.  You can also boat up the Llano River a few miles.

Boat Launch Ramp

There are two boat launch ramps in the area, one is the community ramp in the photo above and another one is also available nearby.

Bring your boats and jet skis and tie them up at the dock at the lake house.  If you don't have a boat or jet skis, you can rent them locally.

Boat trailers and RVs can be parked at the owner's lot across the street from the lake house.

Granite Crossing Lake House No. 3 is located  near Kingsland, Texas about 60 minutes northwest of Austin, 90 minutes north of San Antonio, 3 hours from Dallas/Ft. Worth and 4 hours west of Houston.

This location is about one mile below the dam for Inks Lake.  When the dam is generating and releasing water, the water flows past this location and temporarily raises the water level 6 to 18 inches, giving it the features of a flowing river for a short time.  It is ideal for floating down past the granite boulders in the water and for tubing and boarding.  Guests really love this special feature!

Note:  Caution needs to be taken with children when the water is running rapidly.  They need to be aware of the occasional, temporary fluctuating water levels.  Life jackets are furnished and are required while swimming in this area for children.

The home was designed with enjoyment of the lake in mind and has been built to maximize the use of the lake.   You will really love this lake home!

Granite Crossing Lake House No. 3 has 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and 3 spacious decks facing the water.  The home has 9 beds counting the  futon sofa beds.  It is recommended that up to 14 people with a maximum of 18 people can comfortably stay in the home.

Living Room of the Lake House

The spacious living room has 3 wide futon sofa beds that can sleep up to 6 guests.  The flat screen TV has satellite TV and a DVD player.  The rocker is a favorite with guests.

Dining Room of the Lake House

The dining room also has a great view of the lake through the glass doors and a side window.  The dining table seats 12 people.

Kitchen of the Lake House

The modern kitchen has everthing thing you need to make your meals and snacks while vacationing at Lake LBJ.  All you need to bring is your food and drinks.

It has a dishwasher, stove, refrigerator with ice and water in the door, a microwave, coffee pot, pots and pans, utensils, and dinnerware, etc.

  
Master Bedroom of the Lake House

The large master bedroom has a full sized bed, a futon bed, a flatscreen TV with satellite TV and a DVD player.  It has a great view of the lake.

The very spacious master bath has double sinks and a shower.

  
Second Bedroom of the Lake House

The second bedroom has a full sized bed and a futon sofa that makes into a bed to sleep another 2 people.  The flat screen TV has satellite TV and a DVD player.   It has a nice view of the lake.

  
Third Bedroom of the Lake House

The third bedroom is on the lower floor and is a favorite with children, teenagers and young adults.  It has 4 futon sofa beds which can sleep up to 8 people.   The flat screen TV has satellite TV.  It has a nice view of the lake.

The second and third bedrooms are in the hallway upstairs and downstairs.   The both have showers.

A utility room with a wahser and dryer is provided.
