Gibson's Getaway Lake House has some of the best open-water waterfront on
Cedar Creek Lake providing beautiful views of the lake and great water for water sports.
Fish, swim, sunbathe, and relax on their 16 x 16 deck over the water while
enjoying some of the best views of the lake and the gentle lake breezes.
Watertoys are included for guests.
Cedar Creek Lake is one of the biggest lakes in Texas and has great
conditions for boating, waterskiing, jet-skiing and swimming.
Gibson's Getaway is a recently remodeled lake house with 3 bedrooms, 1
bath and can sleep up to 9 people in beds comfortably.
The lake house is located in Gun Barrel City, only about an hour southeast
of Dallas/Ft. Worth. The drive is a pretty drive to Cedar Creek Lake.
Dock your boat in their covered boat dock on the electric lift and you can
be out on the water in a couple of minutes. You can tie up extra boats and jet skis
at the dock. You will love this lake house!
A boat launch is only a short distance away.
Fish caught at Gibson's Getaway
The fishing is great at Gibson's Getaway. Guests catch a lot of
bass, stripers and catfish from the dock.
Catch your limit fishing from the pier, the waterfront deck, or from the
shore. There are also fishing guides available on Cedar Creek Lake for the serious
fishermen in your group.
The lake house has 120 feet of open-water waterfront for you to enjoy!
Enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the waterfront deck.
The sunsets can be absolutely amazing at Gibson's Getaway. Relax on
the deck and watch the beauty unfold.
Pet Friendly:
We love our pets and so do you. Ask about bringing them on your vacation. We
do accept some pets at the lake house. We have a medium sized crate and a large
crate for pets when you need to leave them unattended.
The Outdoor Bar
A favorite gathering place of the guests, during the day or in the
evening, is the outdoor bar with the fantastic view of the lake.
Grab a stool and enjoy!
The outdoor bar has lighting for evening enjoyment. There is also a
BBQ for your use at the bar.
The Outdoor Bar at Night
The bar has indoor counter space all the way across the bar for serving.
It has an electrical outlet to use blenders, refrigerator, fan, bar lights and a large
stereo with CD player with an ipod connection. Fun CDs are provided, too.
Glasses, bar equipment, etc. are also provided.

Horseshoes
For extra outdoor entertainment they have horseshoes, washers and a dart
game for people looking for a little competition.
Gibson's Getwaway Lake House
This lake house was designed with obtaining the maximum enjoyment of the
lake in mind. The covered porch has a million dollar view of the lake.
The porch goes the full width of the lake house and has plenty of room for
everyone. A BBG grill is available.

Upon entering the home you will appreciate the interesting design of the
home and the way it is decorated. The large windows facing the lake give you a
beautiful panoramic view of the lake.

view of the lake though the glass sliding doors to the large porch facing Cedar Creek
Lake.
Living Room of the Lake House
The living room has a sofa and loveseat looking out to the lake through
large windows. There is a great view of the lake from this room and the dining room.
The TV in the living room has Satellite TV.
The dining room is next to the living room.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you need to fix your
meals and snacks while vacationing at the lake. All you need to bring are your food
and drinks.
First Bedroom
The first bedroom has a queen-sized bed. This bedroom has a TV with
satellite TV.
Bunk Bedroom
The Bunk Bedroom is off the first bedroom. It has a single bed up
and a double bed down.

The third bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a double bed.
The bathroom has a tub/shower combination.
A washer and dryer are provided for your use.
