The open living/dining area is highlighted with a wall of bookshelves stocked with books, magazines and games.  The Farmhouse has lots of windows, a built-in bar, and a Canadian wood-burning stove which keeps the entire home toasty on cold evenings!

Wading and Swimming in Cedar Creek Lake

Situated on just over an acre, The Farmhouse offers beautiful wooded views, and is just a short walk to the best swimming on Cedar Creek Lake. Guests love this home!

Black Bellied Tree Ducks

These beautiful ducks above are called Black Bellied Tree Ducks or Black Bellied Whistling Ducks.  They are known for their sweet disposition and attractiveness.  Their usual habitat is in the lower Gulf Coast and in Mexico but these ducks have come farther north up to Cedar Creek Lake.

The Farmhouse offers 2 bedrooms, 2 baths.  This property is best suited for small groups or families of 4-6 people.

The Farmhouse is conveniently located on the east side on Cedar Creek Lake, only a little over an hour southeast of Dallas and 90 minutes north of Austin, Texas. 

We have two lake houses close together, The Farmhouse and The Cottage.  You can rent either one, or rent both of them together for larger groups.  These properties are best suited for small groups or families of 4 to 6 people at The Farmhouse and 4 to 6 people at The Cottage.  To see The Cottage web page - Click Here.

 
The Living Room of The Farmhouse

Comfortable rustic decor throughout will make you feel at home and want to stay!  A queen-sized futon in the living room can accommodate two additional guests.

Sunroom

The sunroom is surrounded by windows and brings the outdoors in...a terrific place for a good book or an afternoon nap!   A queen-sized futon in the sunroom can accommodate two additional guests for a total of 8 at The Farmhouse.

There are ceiling fans throughout The Farmhouse, lots of windows, and a skylight in both the kitchen and one bath.

Wireless, high speed internet is available.

The kitchen has modern appliances and all of the cookware, dinnerware, utensils and everything you need for fixing meals and snacks.  The kitchen provides a refrigerator with icemaker, gas stove, microwave oven, and small appliances; coffeemaker, toaster, blender, mixer and more.

Awaiting your arrival, you will find farm fresh eggs, fresh roasted organic coffee beans, complimentary firewood, and a pantry stocked with breakfast treats and snacks.

The spacious master bedroom has a king-sized bed and ceiling fan.  The master bath offers double sinks and walk-in shower with a built-in seat.

The second bedroom also offers a queen-sized bed and ceiling fan.  The 2nd bath includes a bathtub/shower combination and a skylight.

High quality pure cotton linens are provided for the bed & bath.

A full sized washer and dryer are provided for your convenience.

$295 per night on holiday weekends for up to 6 people
4 night minimum stay on holidays
Weekend nights, Friday and Saturday night, cannot be split.  Both nights are only rented together.

Stay 5 nights and get the 6th at HALF PRICE!

One time cleaning fee - $125 per stay

Two Guest Geataway!  2 Guests, 2 nights, $200 per night with $50 cleaning fee.....third night is only $100!

Family reunion or special event?  There are three homes adjacent to The Farmhouse which can accommodate up to 36 guests when combined with The Farmhouse!  Ask for details!

March 1st through September 30th:

$225 per night for up to 4 people
$250 per night for 5 - 6 people
