Eagles Nest Lake House, located on beautiful Lake
Buchanan, Texas is the perfect vacation spot for fishing, relaxing, or a small gathering
of family and friends.
The lake house is situated on a large lot with a
lakeside deck and a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. For early risers, the
sunrises are a beautiful way to start the day.
With two separate living areas adults and children
can comfortably spread out. There is plenty of seating with 3 sofas, a love seat,
and chairs.
Comfortable sleeping is provided
with a king-sized bed and 4 single beds. The lake house can accommodate up to 6
adults plus children. The extra children can sleep on 2 sleeper sofas. It has 2 1/2 baths.
The lake house is located on Lake
Buchanan in central Texas about one hour north west of Austin, 90 minutes north of San
Antonio, 3 1/2 hours south of Dallas/Ft. Worth and 4 hours west of Houston.
Eagles Nest Lake House is located on
the west side of Lake Buchanan at the north end where the homes are farther apart.
This provides more privacy and freedom for the group to be a little more noisy than
normal.
Lake Buchanan is a large, beautiful lake with a lot of coves. It is
the largest of the 6 Highland Lakes in central Texas and is popular for striped bass and
catfish fishing. You can fish from the waterfront deck, in your boat, or you can go
out with a local fishing guide.
Large back yard for games, picnics, etc.
The large back yard is great for games, picnics, etc. The back yard is
completely fenced with a chain link fence. If you have a pet you want to bring, be
sure to ask about the Pet Policy.

The covered porch is a popular gathering place with guests. The
porch faces the lake and back yard. The view of the hills across the lake and the
beautiful sunrises over the lake can be seen from the waterfront deck, the porch and
from the living room and one bedroom.
A large BBQ Grill/Smoker is located on the porch for your convenience.
It is the perfect way to cook the catch of the day.
Plenty of outdoor seating is provided with a cushioned glider swing, an
outdoor bar with stools, and other seating.
Outdoor speakers from the stereo provide music to the porch. Relax
and let the fun begin.

Two living areas offer separate spaces for children's games and adult
conversations. Both living areas have fireplaces.
Front Living Room with Fireplace
The front living room has two areas with both facing Lake Buchanan, and
providing a view of the lake through two windows. This room has a fireplace, 2 sofa
hide-a-beds, a table a single bed and a couple of chairs.
A bathroom with a tub/shower combination is off the front living room.
Family Room with second fireplace
The family room provides extra seating with a sofa and love seat.
This room also has a very nice brick fireplace. A TV with satellite TV and DVD
player is in this room.
Dining Room
The dining room is adjacent to the family room. It has an antique
table with 6 chairs. The large cupboards provide plenty of storage area.
Natural light is provided by a sliding door out to the side yard.
Kitchen of the lake house
The galley kitchen is equipped with a modern stove, microwave,
refrigerator, dishwasher and eveything you need for your lake vacation. All you need
to bring is your food and drinks.
A pass-thru is located between the kitchen and dining room.
A utility room off the kitchen has a washer and dryer for your
convenience.
First Bedroom
The first bedroom has a view of the lake through the large window.
The king-sized bed is very comfortable, and the view of the lake from the bed is a
favorite with guests. A TV with satellite TV is located in an entertainment center.
The bathroom off this bedroom has a shower.
Second Bedroom
The second bedroom has sleeping for 3 people in 3 single beds.
The two windows look out into the side and front yards.
The bathroom off this bedroom is a half bath.
