If you are looking for a place to have a fantastic family reunion, or a getaway with friends, you will want to consider this special waterfront lake house on Lake LBJ in Granite Shoals, Texas.  This lake house has it all!

It has 2 living areas and 4 bedrooms with a total of 12 beds that can comfortably sleep up to 16 people.  It has 3 bathrooms, a large covered porch facing the water, 2 large covered decks, a waterfont fishing and swimming deck, and more.

If your group has more than 16 people, there is another house on the block that can sometimes be rented with this lake house to provide sleeping for up to 26 people with the two houses combined.

Waterfront Fishing & Swimming Deck

Clear Cove Lake House is located on Clear Cove, a very large, pretty cove on popular Lake LBJ in central Texas.  Lake LBJ is one of the largest, normally constant level lakes in the United States and has some of the best conditions for boating, waterskiing, jet skiing, fishing and swimming.

The Clear Cove Lake House is located on a peninsula and has water views in both the front and back of the house.

The lake house is only about an hour's drive northwest of Austin, 90 minutes north of San Antonio, 3 hours south of Dallas/Ft. Worth and 4 hours west of Houston.

Fishing Pier

The long waterfront deck and fishing pier are perfect for swimming, fishing, sunbathing, or just sitting at the waterfront enjoying the activity on the lake.  The deck has a BBQ grill, a chiminea, stairs into the water, and plenty of seating for everyone.

A Wake Watcher's Mooring System has been installed at the end of the dock for visitors' boats.  A mooring bouy is installed for docking jet skis off their shore.  (The covered boat lift is unavailable at this time.)

The large waterfront dock has plenty of room to tie up your boats and jet skis.  If you don't have a boat or jet ski, they can be rented locally.

A public boat launch is just down the street 3 houses away.  You can also use that area for parking your boat trailer and extra vehicles.

Clear Cove is about 1/4 mile wide by 1/2 mile long and is perfect for waterskiing and swimming.  It is one of the nicest coves on Lake LBJ.  There are shallow areas in the cove for wading and swimming. 

Covered Porch facing the Water

The large, covered porch runs the full width of the house and offers a great view of the water.  It has a hammock for napping, table and chairs, ceiling fans, and extra seating.

The porch is a favorite gathering place for guests to watch the activity on the lake while enjoying snacks and drinks.  Gentle lake breezes add to the enjoyment.

Million dollar homes can be seen on the opposite shore of the cove.

Upper Deck facing the Lake

The upstairs deck also has a fantastic view of this beautiful cove.  The deck is covered and has ceiling fans, and chairs and rockers for seating several people.

Upper Deck at the Front of the Lake House

There is also a covered upper deck at the front of the house.  This deck faces the water on the other side of the peninsula and has a partial view of the activity on that part of the lake.  This deck also runs the full width of the house and has ceiling fans and plenty of seating.

In the photo above you can see the rear of the house and see the covered porch and the upper deck which face the water.  You will notice there are ample windows that provide a view of the lake from several rooms inside the lake house.

The home has many added features and is kept in excellent condition.   You will enjoy your stay in this special lake house!

Living Room with Wall of Windows Facing the Lake

This lake house is very well designed with the idea of getting the most enjoyment out of life at the lake.  The wall of windows gives the upstairs living room a fantastic view of the lake.  Cool evenings at the lake can be taken advantage of with the use of the fireplace.  Cable TV and the DVD player offer entertainment in the evening hours.  A glass door provides access to the upper deck facing the lake.

The comfortable leather sofa and love seat, along with other seating provide a peaceful place for conversations.  Attractive tile flooring is used throughout the upper level.

  
Family Room

The downstairs family room also has Cable TV and DVD player.  The futon and sleeper sofa provide sleeping for 4 people.  The windows provide a nice view of the water from this room, too.

The lake house has Wireless Internet Access.

Dining Area

The dining area is located between the living room and the kitchen.   It has a table with 6 chairs.  Three stools at the kitchen counter provide additional seating.

This modern, attractive kitchen has everything you need for making snacks and complete meals while vacationing at the lake.  All you need to bring are your food and drinks.

Master Bedroom - Upstairs

The master bedroom has a comfortable king-sized bed and a dresser with mirror.  The window faces the front of the house and the lake on that side.

The spacious master bathroom has a jacuzzi tub and a shower.

  
Second Bedroom - Upstairs

The second bedroom has a comfortable king-sized bed and a chest of drawers.  It also has a twin bed for sleeping one extra person. 

A bathroom with a shower is off this room.  This bathroom also has an entrance from the hallway.

The window provides a view of the cove.

  
Third Bedroom - Downstairs

The third bedroom has a double bed and a bunk bed for sleeping up to 4 people.  A secretary desk is provided.

All of the bedrooms have ceiling fans.

  
Fourth Bedroom - Downstairs

A spacious bonus bedroom has been made out of a family area.  It has one double bed and 3 single beds.  This room has a nice view of the water.

A bathroom with a shower is off the hallway near the third and fourth bedrooms.

A washer and dryer are available for your use downstairs.
